Learning Hebrew Through a Feminist Lens

Project Kesher Israel, together with Nadia Eisner-Choresh, is launching a new Hebrew Ulpan in Jerusalem and additional cities focused on inclusive and gender-sensitive language learning.

The program offers a fresh approach to studying Hebrew — teaching traditional language skills while exploring how words, grammar, and expression shape identity, equality, and self-expression.

Nadia Eisner-Choresh is a poet, translator, and researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where she is completing her Ph.D. in Hebrew Literature. Her academic and creative work explores gender, migration, and language.

This initiative marks the first time PKI has introduced a Hebrew learning program specifically designed to reflect feminist and inclusive perspectives in language use.
