“Tvoye.Moye” Recording Identity in Motion

Even in the most challenging circumstances, stories find their way into the world. Last week, Vlada Nedak, CEO of PKU and WOF-UA, and host of the podcast “Tvoye.Moye” recorded a new episode right on a train — during a seven-hour delay caused by Russian bombing.

The moment perfectly reflected the spirit of her podcast: resilience, reflection, and the ongoing search for identity in today’s Ukraine.

The third season of “Tvoye.Moye” explores Jewish identity in contemporary Ukraine, featuring conversations with Ukrainians of Jewish descent who shape the country’s culture, science, business, and civic life. Guests include Volodymyr Rabchun, TV presenter and blogger; Lyolya Landa, researcher of Jewish cuisine and founder of a Lviv Jewish restaurant; Ilana Shevchenko, actress; Illia Hladshtein, film producer; and others.

Despite war, disruption, and uncertainty, Vlada continues to document voices that speak of memory, belonging, and strength — proving that even on a halted train, the conversation about who we are never stops.

New episodes appear every two weeks on the “Tvoye.Moye” YouTube channel.
