Fourth round of grantmaking underway in Ukraine
Project Kesher Ukraine’s Women’s Opportunity Fund (WOF-UA) has announced its fourth round of mini grants for small, women-led businesses. The Fund will make available to 15 selected grantees 70 thousand Ukraine hryvnia (the country’s national currency) for the purchase of equipment for entrepreneurial activities and business development. In order to be eligible, candidates must reside in the Vinnytsia or Kirovograd regions, have been in operation for at least six months, and have registered as sole entrepreneurs in these areas since February 24, 2022.
The regional focus is significant as the areas have absorbed a significant number of displaced Ukrainians since the onset of this latest phase of the war with Russia.
We look forward to announcing the grant recipients next month, bringing greater stability to a new cohort of women entrepreneurs who can, in turn, provide more support to themselves, their families, their communities and all of Ukraine.
