Supporting Young Mothers Across Ukraine
In January, Project Kesher Ukraine hosted a series of supportive gatherings for young mothers with children in Odesa, Chernivtsi, and Lviv, creating safe and nurturing spaces for rest, reflection, and connection.
Participants took part in discussions with psychologists Tetiana Lukashchuk and Liudmyla Poznieieva on breathing practices, personal boundaries, and unspoken taboos—exploring simple tools for restoring balance, reducing stress, and strengthening inner resilience. These meetings offered women a rare opportunity to pause, be heard, and support one another during an especially challenging time.
In Lviv, while children were cared for by a nanny, mothers engaged in an art therapy session that allowed space for emotional expression, recovery, and renewed inner strength.
