Missile Strikes PKU Partner Facility

Recently, a Russian missile strike damaged the Flex manufacturing facility in Mukachevo, Ukraine, located just 50 kilometers from the European Union border. Thanks to swift emergency protocols, more than 600 employees were safely evacuated, though several were injured and are currently receiving medical care. Flex is providing full support to them and their families.

Project Kesher Ukraine has a special connection to the Mukachevo facility. In spring 2025, they partnered with Flex to host ‘Not on Pause,’ an event dedicated to supporting women through menopause. Together, they created a space where dozens of women could access expert knowledge, break down stereotypes, and find community.

In response to the attack, PKU sent a letter of solidarity to Flex’s leadership:

“This is a horrific act directed against peaceful civilians and businesses, and it is yet another proof of the absurdity and cruelty of this war. We deeply respect your work and social commitment, which have always been important for the development of our society. It was an honor to collaborate with you on behalf of your women employees, and we remember this as an example of true partnership and responsibility. We wish you strength, resilience, and a swift recovery, and we believe that new opportunities for cooperation in important social initiatives lie ahead.”

Flex is a U.S.-headquartered company with a global workforce in 30 countries, dedicated to building consumer and lifestyle products that improve lives. The Mukachevo facility has never been involved in military or defense production.
