Breaking the Silence on Infertility in Jewish Texts and Today
PKI’s Women’s Group of Ramat Gan recently hosted an illuminating study session exploring the theme of infertility in Jewish texts. Led by rabbinical student Michal Kireev, the session examined how infertility was addressed in Biblical times, especially in the lives of central female figures in the Hebrew Bible.
Participants engaged in a deep and candid discussion, drawing connections between ancient narratives and contemporary experiences. The open conversation highlighted the importance of confronting topics often considered taboo and raised thought-provoking questions about patriarchal societies both then and now.
