Project Kesher Israel Continues to Prioritize Financial Literacy for Immigrant Women
Last week, participants of the southernmost Project Kesher Israel (PKI) group in Dimona came together to improve their financial literacy, participating in PKI’s “Financial Freedom” course. The session focused on enhancing understanding of family cash flow and household budget management, teaching the important subject within a warm and supportive atmosphere and using creative, practical exercises.
For immigrant women in Dimona, a city with limited employment opportunities, discussions around budgeting can be especially challenging. In response to research validating that immigrant women in Israel face significant economic barriers, PKI continues to provide targeted support to help participants build financial stability.
