Meet Project Kesher Ukraine’s Tetyana Voytalyuk

For more than 20 years, Tetyana Voytalyuk has been a driving force in Project Kesher Ukraine, empowering women and revitalizing Jewish traditions. Born into a Soviet family that concealed their Jewish roots, she discovered her heritage as an adult and embraced Tikkun Olam—improving the world through personal example.

Through initiatives like Me for Myself, Tetyana champions women’s mental health through innovative art therapy techniques, such as neuro-drawing. Additionally, her Health in Colors project brings vibrant murals to children’s hospitals and bomb shelters, offering hope and comfort in the most challenging circumstances.

Tetyana volunteers tirelessly to drive inspiration and positive change in her community, from regularly donating blood to support Ukrainian soldiers to leading workshops for volunteers and  elderly citizens. As a mother, she has passed on the Jewish traditions she rediscovered, instilling empathy and resilience in her children. Her daughter now works as a psychologist in the Netherlands, where she aids Ukrainian women and soldiers from afar.

Tetyana’s commitment to her work, her community and her heritage makes her a true source of inspiration. Her efforts exemplify the values of Project Kesher, and her leadership continues to improve lives and uplift spirits across Ukraine.
