Celebrating the Success of Hebrew-language Ulpan Participants

Last week, PKI celebrated the achievements of seven groups that completed the hybrid Hebrew Ulpan program, which helps new immigrants and refugees in Israel gain vital language skills so they can better navigate their new country, find meaningful employment and further connect with Israelis. The program was an enormous success and has already seen 200 new participants enroll in the next session.

The Ulpan programs run by PKI go beyond language instruction. They empower a vulnerable and often-isolated immigrant and refugee population with information about Israeli culture and society, and provide a key source of support, connection and empowerment.

In addition to the hybrid program, PKI runs fully in-person Ulpan programs in Jerusalem, Jaffa and Haifa, creating even more opportunities to grow and connect. The organization has proudly supported more than 1,500 Ulpan participants as part of its efforts to help build a stronger future in Israel.
