Project Kesher Israel Board Member Appointed to Government Position
Project Kesher Israel is proud to announce that its Board member and activist Margarita Slavkin—a graduate of PKI’s leadership training program and head of the PKI group in the city of Petach Tikva—has been appointed municipal deputy as part of the national municipal elections. Her ascent to this position reflects her vision and dedication to feminist causes as well as immigrant rights and other forms of social activism.
Championing the voices of women often means laying the foundations for women to serve in public office. We are delighted to see Margarita assume this important role and look forward to witnessing how future women leaders follow in her impressive footsteps.
