Meet Women's Opportunity Fund Grantee, Olena Yashyna

One of the fastest growing segments of the Ukrainian economy is small women owned businesses but these businesses are rarely large enough to qualify for grants or loans because they are too small. The Women’s Opportunity Fund however, prioritizes women with businesses making under $25,000 a year. Recent grantee Olena Yashyna was featured in national Ukrainian media. Olena credits WOF-UA with her ability to expand her business sharing, “The demand for my professional embroidery services has been enormous, but in the past, I had to refuse due to a lack of equipment. Now I have the necessary resources. Thanks for the opportunity to grow!”
