Strengthening LGBTQ+ Support Amid Challenges in Israel
Project Kesher Israel (PKI) has recommitted itself to the country’s LGBTQ community following the suspension of “The Aguda,” Israel’s leading LGBTQ advocacy group, from the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA). With the suspension potentially impacting local LGBTQ-related fundraising and international outreach efforts, Project Kesher is standing firm in its commitment to LGBTQ residents of Israel, including immigrants and refugees escaping the war in Ukraine and Russian persecution.
Watch a short testimonial from one of PKI's LGBTQ+ beneficiaries, Shursh Shabanov, below.
