Meet Project Kesher Ukraine’s Vita Ruzhanska

Vita Ruzhanska, the dedicated Women's Health Manager at Project Kesher Ukraine, grew up in a family rooted in charitable work. A successful cardiologist and medical research, she continues to give back to her community, following her mother’s example. Vita combines her knowledge and experience to empower women across Ukraine to care for their health, focusing on prevention and education. Her commitment to community support is evident in the trust she has built with women in her hometown of Vinnytsia, where she feels both respected and inspired by those she serves.

Since joining Project Kesher Ukraine, Vita’s role has evolved from participating in various initiatives to leading the organization’s women’s health programs. Her work aims to cultivate awareness and accessibility in healthcare, creating opportunities for women to actively participate in caring for their health. Drawing from her medical expertise and inclusive approach, Vita has strengthened the Project Kesher team, fostering a collaborative environment that mirrors her own values—encouraging growth, open-mindedness and support for each woman.

Outside of her professional life, Vita cherishes time with her family, describing them as her greatest blessing. Whether it’s listening to medical lectures, watching cartoons with her children or welcoming friends into her home, Vita finds joy and purpose in the connections she nurtures. In her view, especially during challenging times in Ukraine, these moments of togetherness are invaluable, bringing warmth and resilience to those around her.
