Sixth Round of Grants for Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs Launches in Kyiv Region

The Women’s Opportunity Fund of Ukraine (WOF-UA) is excited to announce the launch of its sixth mini-grant contest, offering critical support to women entrepreneurs in Kyiv and the surrounding region. This year, selected women-led businesses will receive grants of UAH 100,000 (approximately $2,500 USD) to purchase essential equipment and grow their enterprises.

Since its inception in 2022, WOF-UA has awarded UAH 8.7 million across 120 grants, empowering women entrepreneurs and responding to urgent humanitarian needs. In addition to business grants, the fund has supported frontline communities by donating modern medical equipment, more than 150 generators for healthcare facilities and 240 electric bikes for healthcare workers.

This latest initiative is made possible thanks to the generous support of The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). At the recent launch event for the mini-grant program, more than 50 women entrepreneurs gathered to explore opportunities for growth and innovation in Kyiv. Supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, the Kyiv Region Development Agency, and the Council of Internally Displaced Persons, the event connected participants with essential resources and strategic partners to help fuel their businesses' success.
