Women’s Opportunity Fund Donates E-Bikes to Healthcare Workers in Mykolaiv

The Women’s Opportunity Fund of Ukraine has donated six electric bicycles to Mykolaiv Primary Health Care Center No. 1, helping healthcare workers provide faster, more accessible care to more than 30,000 patients. Amid wartime transportation challenges, the e-bikes will enable medical teams to reach patients more efficiently, particularly older adults, people with limited mobility, and families requiring home visits.

Each month, the center’s staff conducts more than 760 home visits, delivering essential care across the community. By improving mobility and reducing travel time, the e-bikes will help healthcare professionals respond more quickly to patients’ needs and strengthen access to frontline healthcare when it is needed most.
