Building the Next Generation of Jewish Women Leaders in Ukraine

Project Kesher Ukraine has welcomed 23 women from across the country to the third cohort of Women Leaders: Next Generation, a ten-month leadership program supported by UJA-Federation of New York.

From August 2026 through June 2027, participants will explore Jewish identity, women’s leadership, community building, and informal Jewish education, while gaining the skills and confidence to become leaders in their local communities.

Learning through action is at the heart of the program. Participants will develop and lead Jewish educational and community initiatives, creating opportunities for women to connect with Jewish traditions, learn together, and strengthen their sense of belonging.

The program’s impact will extend far beyond the 23 participants. As they bring new knowledge, ideas, and connections back to their communities, these emerging leaders will help ensure that Jewish life in Ukraine remains vibrant, relevant, and rooted in strong networks of women supporting one another.
