Stay Connected 2.0: Bridging the Digital Divide
The Women’s Opportunity Fund of Ukraine continues its “Stay Connected 2.0” program, expanding access to technology and digital skills for young women across the country. Building on earlier efforts, the initiative now focuses on students ages 18–25 facing significant barriers—providing laptops and training in artificial intelligence to support their education and career development. In the latest cohort, 29 young women received critical tools to stay connected and move forward.
A strong digital presence today means access to learning, employment, and opportunity. With mentorship from Hillel IT School and AI trainer Vasyl Oryshchuk, participants in fields from engineering, law, healthcare and more are gaining skills to shape their futures despite the challenges of war, displacement, and economic hardship.
The impact is deeply personal. Participants describe continuing their studies in the face of displacement, damaged homes, and caregiving responsibilities—all while holding onto dreams of building careers, supporting their communities, and creating new opportunities for others. Applications are now open for the next cohort, continuing this vital investment in womens’ resilience and possibility.
