PKU Annual Gala: A Moment of Light in Kyiv

Despite blackouts, freezing temperatures, and ongoing shelling, Project Kesher Ukraine brought together 80 members and friends in Kyiv for its annual Gala Evening—a rare moment of warmth, gratitude, and connection. The gathering offered space to pause, reflect, and draw strength from a united women’s community spanning regions across Ukraine.

The evening celebrated Project Kesher’s achievements over the past year and honored longtime partners and activists for their dedication. Ten women received awards recognizing their leadership and impact, and participants were thanked with small tokens of appreciation—symbols of care, continuity, and shared purpose.

“This community is a place where you can exhale,” shared CEO Vlada Nedak. “Where support is quiet but unwavering, and humanity becomes our greatest value.” The Gala served as a powerful reminder that even in the hardest moments, women grow stronger together.
