Seminar for Jewish Women Leaders Held in Lviv

From January 31–February 1, Project Kesher Ukraine (PKU) held a winter seminar in Lviv for participants of their Jewish Women’s Leadership course, bringing together 18 emerging women leaders from across Ukraine.

The program featured in-depth educational sessions on Jewish text study, non-formal education, and group facilitation, led by Heliz Lieberman (Taube Center for the Renewal of Jewish Life), Daryna Nadashkevych (Embassy of the State of Israel), and Kateryna Rabina (Jewish Agency for Israel, Sohnut-Ukraine).

Participants also took an active role in shaping the seminar by leading a Shabbat Beit Midrash and evening program. The shared celebration of Shabbat became a particularly meaningful moment, underscoring the strength of community and the continuity of tradition as the war wages on.
