Expanding Baby Box Support for Families Across Ukraine
Every month, Project Kesher Ukraine and it’s humanitarian arm, the Women’s Opportunity Fund (WOF-UA) provide baby boxes filled with essentials to mothers with young children in communities across the country. Each box includes hygiene products for mothers and babies, baby food, diapers, and other necessities. To date, 299 families have received this vital support.
Beginning in July 2025, the program expanded to serve children up to 5 years old (previously 2.5 years), with updated boxes that include additional food products. In August, families from the Odessa Jewish community received the new packages and expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“Our son is delighted and already enjoying the cookies. Special thanks for the cereals and pasta. Your organization has truly supported our family, especially since our father is serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” — Liudmyla
“Thank you so much for this help that is very important for our family, especially in these tough times. Our child is happy!” — Kateryna
“The children were thrilled: they made an unboxing and immediately rushed for the purées and cookies. Many thanks for such a wonderful initiative!” — Mariia
With each box, PKU and WOF-UA are helping families meet their children’s needs, while also providing moments of joy and relief during challenging times.
