Finding Breath & Lightness in Ashkelon
On August 10 in Ashkelon, PKI hosted a special session for women immigrants from Ukraine, many of whom carry the double trauma of war. Led by yoga therapist Lucy Shvamental, the gathering—“Breathe Life: How to Let Go of Stress and Regain Lightness”—offered participants practical tools for easing anxiety and reconnecting with themselves.
In a welcoming and supportive space, women practiced simple breathing and body exercises that required no preparation—just self-acceptance. The session was filled with warmth, laughter, and moments of clarity. Everyone left carrying something meaningful—new ways to breathe through anxiety and reclaim a sense of lightness.
