Empowering Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs with Additional Mini Grants

Project Kesher Ukraine’s Women’s Opportunity Fund (WOF-UA) has launched a new mini grant competition aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in Lviv and the surrounding region. With a budget of approximately $50,000, the program will award an additional round of funds ranging from $1,220 to $3,700 to help women grow their specific businesses. It continues to be supported by the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).

The launch of the new competition was marked by an in-person event in Lviv that brought together local women eager to strengthen their ventures. Representatives from both city and regional governments joined the presentation, illustrating the understanding that women-led businesses serve as pillars of Ukraine’s economic recovery and growth.

Since its founding in 2022, WOF-UA has provided 216 mini grants. It remains committed to empowering women entrepreneurs as a means of strengthening individuals, families and communities all across the country.
