Meet Project Kesher Ukraine’s Tetiana Rovynska, English Teacher at WOnder School
Tetiana Rovynska is an English-language educator at the Women’s Opportunity Fund’s WOnder School, where she has been teaching online since the school’s inception nearly four years ago. She joined the initiative after the full-scale war in Ukraine began, describing this period of her life as a transformative “second half.” With a deep connection to the school’s mission, Tetiana is committed to empowering women through language, helping them grow personally and professionally.
At WOnder School, Tetiana teaches a range of English courses, including general English, business English and a specially designed course for women working in the non-profit sector. With a professional background in both English and German language instruction, Tetiana brings creativity and heart to her teaching. Prior to 2022, she was the director of Zelenyi Theatre in Odesa, a cultural venue that hosted concerts, readings and community events. These experiences continue to influence her educational approach.
Beyond the classroom, Tetiana finds joy in film and intellectual games. She recently initiated WOnder School’s first offline English-language movie screening in Kyiv, blending entertainment with immersive learning. She continues to draw strength and inspiration from her students, her passions and the community she helps build every day.
