Empowering Project Kesher’s Own Through Technology
The SheTop project, run through Project Kesher Ukraine’s Women’s Opportunity Fund (WOF-UA), has helped empower mothers of large families by providing them with laptops and computer literacy training. Recently it was able to offer help to one of its own.
The program provided a new laptop to Daria from Kryvyi Rih, who leads SheTop online computer literacy courses, granting her the same opportunities she has been offering others. She received the laptop amidst great family strife, as her brother is being held captive in Russia.
Daria shared her heartfelt thanks to Project Kesher, emphasizing that the laptop is much more than a device, but a bridge to professional development, personal connection and emotional resilience. “Quality equipment is an opportunity to work more efficiently, learn and grow, which will directly impact my financial situation,” she said. “But for me, it's also about staying connected to loved ones who are currently defending Ukraine. In wartime conditions, the ability to stay in touch, support each other, and feel close to loved ones is invaluable.”
