Celebrating Tu Bishvat Through Art and Connection
In preparation for the Jewish holiday Tu Bishvat, the PKI women’s group in Petach Tikva gathered for an inspiring session that combined creativity and tradition. Led by celebrated local artist Galina Shevtzov, who has been nominated for numerous art awards and exhibitions, the event explored the meaning of Tu Bishvat through artistic expression and thoughtful discussion.
The session focused on the ecological and communal themes of the holiday, sparking meaningful conversations among participants. For many new immigrants, the experience was particularly impactful, providing a connection to Jewish traditions and a creative outlet for emotional expression. By blending art and learning, this event created a space for personal reflection and cultural enrichment, continuing Project Kesher’s mission to foster understanding, growth and community through shared experiences.
