How WOnder School Students Help Women Rebuild Their Lives

Charitable contributions from students of WOF-UA’s WOnder School are helping women affected by war and displacement rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

One such story is Iryna Raklenko, a displaced mother of two from Kharkiv. While caring for a son with a serious illness, Iryna began studying 3D modeling and automation to pursue remote work — but lacked a laptop. Thanks to local WOnder School student donations, WOF-UA was able to provide the equipment she needed to continue her education and move toward financial stability.

Student contributions have also supported women entrepreneurs. Olha Kazakova, founder of the online atelier Top0lya, relocated from occupied Kakhovka and rebuilt her business after completing sewing training. With WOF-UA support, she is now pursuing professional certification as a cutter. Oksana Kupchynska, who fled Mariupol, used WOF-UA support to complete a clothing design course that helped her expand her textile studio in Kyiv.

Together with earlier business grants provided through WOF-UA’s partnership with Convictus Ukraine, this educational support is helping women gain skills, rebuild livelihoods, and create sustainable futures.
