PKU Partners with the GolDa Project

As part of the international GoLda Project, which promotes women’s leadership and cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Israel, Project Kesher Ukraine hosted a special meeting with Yochi Rappeport, CEO of Women of the Wall. The event, opened by Vlada Nedak, highlighted the shared mission of both organizations to ensure women’s voices and presence in spiritual and public life.

Rappeport spoke about the decades-long struggle of Women of the Wall for women’s right to pray at the Western Wall — wearing tallit, reading Torah, and praying aloud — despite opposition and arrests. Her message resonated deeply with participants, showing how women’s leadership can transform tradition into a force for equality and inspiration.
