‘Me for Myself’ Continues to Help Ukrainian Women Find Inner Strength

In collaboration with the Beit Grand Jewish Cultural Center, Project Kesher Ukraine organized a mid-August gathering in Odesa as part of its 'Me for Myself' project. Participants engaged in a variety of sessions, workshops and hands-on activities, including art therapy and yoga, all designed to promote mental well-being.

One of the attendees, a young policewoman, found the event particularly transformative. Exhausted and feeling hopeless due to the pressures of working two jobs while her husband is abroad, she attended the event after a 24-hour shift. The supportive environment and a personal conversation with the psychologist encouraged her to seek professional help.

The 'Me for Myself' project is a key part of PKU's efforts to help Ukrainian women improve their mental health. Through online and offline meetings with speakers, trainers, and coaches, the project provides resources for women to heal, find inner strength, and live fulfilling lives amidst the trauma of war.
