PKI Responds to Wartime Immigration by Helping Newcomers Learn about their Country
PKI tour groups visiting various Israeli cultural centers & museums
Project Kesher Israel continues to offer participants a chance to deepen their connection to Jewish traditions as they adapt to life in a new country. This week, PKI organized three study tours to some of Israel's most significant cultural institutions: the Israel Museum, the Bialik House Museum and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. These tours have become a highlight for PKI’s network, offering a unique opportunity to explore Jewish art, history and culture in depth.
Tour guides included Jewish educator Sofia Axelrod, who provided insights into Jewish art, and Zeev Volk, who discussed Jewish renewal and explored Nachman Bialik’s poetry and its influence on Jewish culture.
The overwhelming interest in PKI’s tours often exceeds available spots, demonstrating participants' eagerness to engage with and learn more about their heritage. These cultural excursions are not only educational but also serve as a source of inspiration and connection for members of the Project Kesher community.
