Project Kesher Ukraine Women's Opportunity Fund Responds to July 8th Attack

On July 8th, the Russian military struck cities across Ukraine, partially destroying a children's cancer hospital in Kyiv and killing at least 39 people in Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih. Responding immediately, Project Kesher Ukraine's Women's Opportunity Fund (WOF-UA) committed one million hryvnia (approximately $25,000) to a 200 million hryvnia campaign to care for the children and rebuild. In addition, WOF-UA immediately arranged for distribution of 35 humanitarian packages providing linens, pillows and other supplies needed in Ukrainian hospitals to be delivered to the injured. With cash on hand, WOF-UA was immediately able to respond. We invite you to immediately respond with us to replace these unbudgeted funds as we continuously prepare ourselves for unexpected expenses in this ongoing war. WOF-UA and Project Kesher Ukraine CEO Vlada Nedak reports that her son had been trapped in the rubble in Kyiv but escaped with minor injuries.
