Helping Immigrant Israelis Make Repairs After an Attack

Following the recent launch of rockets from Lebanon, Project Kesher Israel stepped in to provide assistance to a family whose home in the northern city of Carmiel sustained damage from the attack. Amidst the existing challenges faced by Marina Bagachek, her husband and their six-year-old daughter—new immigrants from Belarus—the family had all the windows of their house shattered by the rockets, making it unlivable and exposed to the cold. When local assistance was delayed, Project Kesher Israel Northern Region Coordinator Irina Fridman quickly arranged financial aid, helping the family restore the safety and comfort to their home, and ensuring they felt supported in their new country.
