Supporting Israel's LGBTQ+ Immigrants
As the war in Ukraine has created enormous pressure and heightened barriers for LGBTQ+ immigrants in Israel (when LGBTQ+ interfaith couples arrive in Israel, the non-Jewish partner is not eligible for Israeli benefits and citizenship), Project Kesher Israel continues to support the community by assisting with legal and visa fees, giving gift cards to members of the community who don’t have enough money for groceries, and providing Jewish educational and spiritual programs. As the number of LGBTQ+ couples that Project Kesher is currently helping has risen from 160 to 300, we need your support to sustain this work.
