The war in Ukraine rages on and Project Kesher’s leaders are at the forefront of understanding the needs of women and girls and their communities and responding.  Whether it is placing dozens of generators in Jewish community centers and food distribution centers where people gather for warmth in winter or providing mental health support tailored to women, Project Kesher is there.  And, it is our ongoing Jewish communal and women’s health programs in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Israel that provide grounding and community during fragile and dangerous times.

Project Kesher’s supporters have been amazing during this crisis… and now, you have the opportunity to be amazing together, in-person! On May 8th, 2023, Project Kesher will be gathering in NYC for our first in-person benefit since 2019.

Due to the increased and immediate needs of Ukrainians, and indeed all the women we support, at this time, we have decided to redesign our Benefit, with a reception first followed by a seated one hour program, to help Project Kesher maximize our operating funds and allocate them where they are needed most. The program will include both Project Kesher Ukraine leadership and entertainment, including a special MC, comedian Liz Glazer.

Please make checks payable to Project Kesher and mail to: Project Kesher, 2660 Broadway #16, New York, NY 10025. Click here to view sponsorship levels and critical needs.

HONORING ALEX BORSTEIN

We will be honoring Alex Borstein from the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with our Kol Isha- Women’s Voice- Award. Alex has been actively supporting Ukrainian women refugees in Spain. And, for those who never saw her Emmy award acceptance speech, where she tells the story of her grandmother stepping out of line to save herself in WWII, watch the video now and you’ll know why she’s a natural fit for our community!
