Support Ukrainian Realtors
With nearly 30 years of experience building women’s leadership and Jewish life in Ukraine, Project Kesher is well positioned to understand and meet the humanitarian needs of women and girls in the Ukrainian war. As part of this process, we have identified grassroots partners that share our values and with whom we can fund and implement projects we both prioritize. It is through one of these partners, Ukraine TrustChain (UTC) that we have learned of the critical role that realtors have been playing in wartime Ukraine.
When Dnipro, Ukraine was bombed in January, realtors were immediately on the scene, placing 300 displaced people in a quickly modified office building in two days. When homes and schools have become uninhabitable due to the war, UTC’s realtor team have been effective problem solvers, calling upon their knowledge, skills and trusted contacts to cost effectively repair buildings.
PK has been supporting this work and now, we’d like to go one step farther by inviting US realtors to support their colleagues. Donate specifically to underwrite the humanitarian work of Ukrainian realtors. Every dollar contributed through this campaign will be used to support their activism. Repairing a roof can cost about $500, a school $10-20,000. And realtors can make it happen!

PROJECT KESHER AND UKRAINIAN TRUSTCHAIN
Project Kesher: When Russia escalated its attacks on Ukraine in February 2022, Project Kesher Ukraine’s women leaders became a network for humanitarian relief. The Project Kesher network has provided $100,000+ in grants to Ukrainian families, evacuated over 9,000 people, distributed hygiene products, rape kits, personal care items, and baby food to thousands of women and mothers, and have helped Ukrainian women and children settle into new cities and countries. Learn more about Project Kesher’s impact in Ukraine.
Ukrainian TrustChain: UTC funds volunteer teams in Ukraine who deliver medicine, food generators and stoves, they winterize homes, run shelters, repair homes and schools and evacuate people out of danger. Their teams provide sustained support into the areas of greatest humanitarian need - the liberated regions, frequent bombardment zones, and underserved communities of displaced people across Ukraine.
