PKI Celebrates Shavuot and Broadcasts Feminist Perspectives on the Holiday
Project Kesher Israel celebrated Shavuot, the harvest festival, with informal picnic gatherings across the country that helped participants find renewed meaning in nature. Participants came together to foster friendships, enjoy homemade treats and delight in the warm weather—a welcome distraction from the challenges facing the country and the communities therein.
In addition, PKI CEO Olya Weinstein joined Israel’s Public Broadcasting Corporation, KAN Radio, for an interview on the meaning of Shavuot. She shared feminist perspectives on the holiday and detailed how tradition can evolve to embrace diverse identities and experiences.
