Project Kesher Hosts 2025 Annual Benefit
On Monday, Project Kesher hosted its Annual Benefit at The Times Center in New York City, bringing together our community of supporters, activists and global leaders. Against the backdrop of war and political unrest, the evening celebrated Project Kesher’s tireless work to improve the lives of vulnerable populations in Ukraine and Israel.
Project Kesher honored three extraordinary individuals who share our mission. Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Makarova, received the Beacon of Democracy Award, and shared a special message thanking PK and the Jewish community for its support of Ukraine. Broadway composer and Tony Award winner Shaina Taub was recognized for her commitment to social justice and Jewish values, and nurse innovator Etti Rosenberg was celebrated for advancing healthcare access and LGBTQ+ inclusion in Israel. Emceed by SiriusXM’s Seth Rudetsky and featuring performances by Broadway stars Julie Benko and Andréa Burns, the event also featured updates from Project Kesher leaders in Ukraine and Israel, highlighting the life-changing impact of their work on the ground.
