WOF-UA Supports Women Entrepreneurs Leading Child Development Centers Across Ukraine

 
 

The Women’s Opportunity Fund has announced the results of its latest mini-grant competition for women who own private centers for children’s creativity and development. With the support of The Jewish Federations of North America, 15 entrepreneurs were selected to receive grants for essential equipment to expand their businesses.

The competition drew strong interest from across Ukraine, with many applications carefully reviewed by the foundation’s team. The selected grant recipients include women leading innovative preschools, creative studios, and child development centers from Vinnytsia to Lviv, Mykolaiv to Poltava. The winners are:

  • Nataliia Makarenko, Zelenodolsk city – preschool educational center

  • Lyubov Pankiv, Mykolaiv – child development center ‘SoloMiia’

  • Lesia Rohova, Zhytomyr – early childhood development center ‘School Ponaroshku’

  • Yaroslava Kukhar, Kremenchuk – alternative music studio ‘Alt Studio’

  • Olha Styozhka, Obukhiv – daytime care and school preparation center ‘Discovery Preschool’

  • Alina Hnybida, Deliatyn (Ivano-Frankivsk region) – interactive center with eco-practices

  • Oksana Topol, Kozelets (Chernihiv region) – educational center ‘My Space’

  • Mariia Boiko, Yastrubychi (Lviv region) – tourist center ‘Hawk’s Nest’

  • Alina Pastukhova, Hnivan – educational center ‘Level’

  • Veronika Boloban, Bila Tserkva – child development center ‘Kids Hub’

  • Liudmyla Zaiets, Vinnytsia – School of Design

  • Halyna Mykhailiak, Lviv – children’s space ‘Children-Flowers’

  • Viktoriia Polianovska, Kropyvnytskyi – private extracurricular education institution

  • Olha Hniedova, Poltava – exemplary choreography studio

  • Valeriia Fedorchenko, Uzhhorod – speech therapy studio ‘Rozmova Space’.

“We are deeply inspired by how many women in Ukraine are creating opportunities for children’s learning and growth,” said Vlada Nedak, founder of the Women’s Opportunity Fund. “These 15 business owners join a growing community of over 200 entrepreneurs. Our goal is to help more women bring their ideas to life, strengthen their businesses, and build spaces where children can thrive.”
