Exploring Female Roles in Jewish Texts
On September 25, the Ramat Gan women’s group gathered for a study session with Michal Natalie Kireeva, who recently joined the PKI team full time as their Development Coordinator. Michal spoke on the theme of “Female Roles and the Image of Shechina in Classical Jewish Texts.” Timed with the reflection of Rosh Hashanah, the discussion drew from the story of creation to explore deeper meanings of women’s roles and divine presence in Judaism.
Michal helped participants uncover layers of meaning in classical texts and sparking a lively dialogue filled with questions and insights. The evening left the group with a renewed perspective on the role of women and the rich female imagery within Jewish tradition.
