Deepening Roots for New Israeli Immigrants

Just days ago, Project Kesher Israel (PKI) continued its tradition of enriching the lives of new immigrants by hosting educational and cultural tours of prominent Israeli cities. Beloved guide Zeev Volk led trips for two women’s groups from Modiin and Haifa, who visited Tel Aviv and Jaffa.

Participants delved into the stories of renowned founders, writers, artists and politicians—many of whom hailed from the same regions as the participants themselves—creating a personal connection that bridged their pasts with their new lives in Israel.

Attendees described the experience as “breathing fresh air during a stressful time” and shared gratitude for the opportunity to form a deeper bond with the places they now call home. PKI is proud to offer such programs that bring history to life while helping new immigrants feel more rooted in their Israeli communities.
