Convening in Vinnytsia for Mental Health Support and Restoration
Last weekend, Project Kesher Ukraine organized a women’s meeting focused on mental health support and restoration in Vinnytsia. Part of the “Me for Myself” project, the event centered on reconnecting with personal needs and emotions; learning techniques that foster quick recoveries following stressful episodes; and restoring the ability to feel one’s body, emotions and needs. Sessions were led by Kateryna Dutko, a certified psychologist specializing in Positive Psychotherapy, a trainer, a psychotherapist, and a member of the Association for Positive Psychotherapy and the Ukrainian Psychotherapists’ Union.
One participant who attended the meeting shared: “This experience became a significant step toward developing the habit of listening to myself, preserving my energy and working on resilience. At the beginning of the meeting, we cried a lot talking about ourselves, but now we are smiling. Sharing within a women’s circle provides a deeper understanding of yourself. I was able to start speaking about myself, voiced my challenges and felt relief.”
The ”Me for Myself” project offers online and offline access to interesting speakers, trainers and coaches, helping women tap into their inner strength.
