Inaugural Jewish Weekend in Lviv

From September 9-10, Lviv played host to Project Kesher Ukraine's inaugural Jewish Weekend, a meaningful gathering bringing together 120 individuals passionate about exploring the rich history of the Jews of Ukraine. In addition to preparing Ukrainian Jews for the high holidays with Ukrainian language materials, speakers highlighted the diversity of people in Ukraine. In the words of Yulia Robchynska, Project Kesher Ukraine manager, "our Jewish weekend succeeded in uniting individuals interested in the history of ethnic groups that have shaped Ukraine's cultural landscape since ancient times."
