Humanitarian Support & Programming in Israel
Project Kesher Israel continues to provide support to women and children from Ukraine and Russia who have sought refuge in Israel. Most of these immigrants and refugees do not speak Hebrew and need assistance with safety protocols. In addition, many are living below the poverty level. PKI is providing:
Food parcels for women, children, and the elderly across the country. Many of these households do not qualify for government assistance because they are temporary transplants from Ukraine and may have children in Israeli hospitals.
Delivering first aid kits to those who sustain minor injuries in the rush to get to bomb shelters.
Mental health support for women and children in Russian. PKI leaders and consultants are now providing six programs a day online to help women keep themselves and their families safe and calm.
Warm clothes for refugees and immigrants.
