Generators Arrive in Ukraine
When Project Kesher Ukraine began receiving desperate requests for generators for heat and electricity, PK and PKU responded immediately. PKU placed orders through a trusted distributor in Ukraine to provide generators to Jewish community partners and then PK offered to underwrite generators for the Ukraine TrustChain network. UTC, started by Daniil Cherkasskiy (an alum of Jewish day school in Kyiv), has been buying and distributing food and supplies including more than 600 tons of food paid for by PK supporters. The generator distributor had additional generators in this shipment and PKU invited Impact Cubed to be part of the order. This week, the first round of generators arrived in Kryvyi Rih (where PKU's office is located). See below for how they will be distributed.
* 10 Jewish communities identified by Project Kesher Ukraine, including a synagogue in Kherson, which was de-occupied recently and is still facing Russian attacks.
* 7 frontline communities identified by our partner, Ukraine TrustChain.
* 41 will be delivered to our partner, Impact Cubed.
A second wave of generators will arrive shortly.
