Empowering Women Immigrants in Israel

With another round of upcoming elections in Israel, Project Kesher Israel continues to provide a-political voter education programs for Russian-speaking immigrants in Israel. This week, PKI hosted an educational session for new immigrants on voting in Israel. Participants learned about the parliamentary system, the Knesset, and the importance of government representation to new immigrants' lives. The event was led by Margarita Slavkin (above), who serves on Project Kesher Israel's Board and in Israeli public office as the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Petach Tikvah.
