Generators for Ukraine
This holiday season, bring light and warmth into the home of a Ukrainian family living through war.
$1,570 covers the cost of one small generator.
As power outages continue across Ukraine, the Project Kesher Ukraine team has received numerous requests for generators for heat and electricity in newly liberated Kherson. In response, Project Kesher has placed orders for generators that will be set up in 45 institutions including 10 Jewish community centers, maternity wards and IDP camps for women and children. Many more are needed.
Project Kesher is a non-profit organization that has been on the ground for 30 years supporting women and girls in Ukraine. When Russia escalated its attacks on Ukraine in February 2022, Project Kesher Ukraine’s women leaders became a network for humanitarian relief. The Project Kesher network has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to Ukrainian families, evacuated over 9,000 people, distributed hygiene products, rape kits, personal care items, and baby food to thousands of women and mothers, and have helped Ukrainian women and children settle into new cities and countries.
