Leadership Training is ─

key to Project Kesher's success.

leadership training

Project Kesher identifies women from within our network for participation in a program of study and in-the-field apprenticeships to hone their substantive knowledge of Judaism and activism and develop their group process skills. Graduates of this program take on leadership roles in Jewish life through Project Kesher or local Jewish institutions. They continue to build a grassroots commitment to Jewish life, pluralism and social activism in their communities.

The program curriculum includes:

  • Workshops on assessing local needs with an introduction to brainstorming and consensus building techniques
  • Training in community and coalition building
  • Jewish text study related to leadership development
  • Programming focusing on special challenges facing emerging women leaders in the region.
