Expect the unexpected as we journey to Russia to experience the many facets of Jewish renewal and Project Kesher’s work advancing the needs of women and girls throughout the region. Participants on Project Kesher’s Spring 2010 Torah Return Trip to Moscow and the Russia’s North Caucasus region will:
- Experience the cosmopolitan city of Moscow and mountainous famed spa resort area of the Northern Caucasus region.
- Hand-carry several Torah scrolls to Jewish communities in the region as part of our ongoing Torah Return Project.
- Celebrate Shavuot with the Russian Jewish community.
- Make meaningful connections with Project Kesher leaders, Jewish community representatives and local and government officials.
- Experience Project Kesher in action through interactive programming, briefings and site visits.
- Make personal connections through special home hospitality visits.
